Washer Maytag Neptune MAH3000AWW - leaking water from the front gasket - Repair in Saratoga, CA.

    18.10.2016

After one of our techs replaced the motor in this unit, the customer called us again saying that the water was leaking from the front gasket. Once the tech came back though, he saw that the water was leaking from the pipe underneath the sink - where the water would pour out. The customer was apologizing but then the next day she called again saying that the washer was indeed leaking from the gasket. The tech went back to check what the issue was, and it turned out that there was a leak in the gasket. He tried fitting it correctly but it would keep leaking so the only way to stop the leak was replacing the gasket. It’s not the easiest job, however, and it tool the tech about an hour and a half to replace the Maytag door gasket Part number 12002533. The Maytag Neptune washer repair was now finally complete, the new motor was running smoothly, the new gasket was not leaking, and the customer was happy to have a perfecty working washer.

Refrigerator Whirlpool WRF560SEYM00 - not cooling enough - Whirlpool WRF560SEYM00 Refrigerator Repair in San Jose, CA.

    18.10.2016

In the same week, our technician got two different calls for the same model of the fridge with the same exact issue - the freezer was not defrosting. In case of the first fridge, its evaporator coil was completely covered with ice and replacing the Whirlpool Refrigerator Control Board WPW10336511 fixed the issue. In case with the second fridge, however, the reason for freezer not being able to defrost was quite trivial - the customers left the fridge door open a few times - so the freezer was defrosting but the top part of the evaporator coil would freeze and the air was not able to circulate because the fan motor would get covered with ice. Once our technician defrosted the evaporator coil, the Whirlpool WRF560SEYM00 refrigerator started working perfectly again.

Air Conditioner HVAC - not cooling - HVAC Repair in San Jose, CA.

    18.10.2016

Even though the motor was running, the tech could not hear any noise from the compressor - it was not starting. It seemed like it should be an easy fix, replacing the capacitor for 35mF+5mF. But after our tech replaced it, the unit still was not working because the PG&E Smartboard AC would not let the system start. When our tech tried disconnecting the PG&E Smartboard AC, the unit would work perfectly, but when he connected it back in, the HVAC would stop working again. So our tech suggesting calling PG&E out to check the issue, but while he was explaining the problem and writing the receipt for the customer, the unit started working.

Our washer stopped working on Sunday late morning. We called Sunny Appliance Repair and they could make the same-day appointment on the afternoon. Initially, they told us that the technician would arrive somewhere 3-5pm, but the technitian, Anthony called us later to inform the specific time he would be arriving so that we didn't have to wait around his arrival. Oven Might Be Making Noises

    Oven Might Be Making Noises

Most Common Reasons Why Your Oven Might Be Making Noises.

Not every time that our appliance makes noises we need to worry.
And not every surprising noise is a big deal. For example, if you have a gas oven and it makes a hissing sound, it is just the gas releasing that will be ignited.
The noises of the oven can be connected with different reasons.
Its important to understand the reason for the noise.
Convection ovens often make noises, and in most cases, this is generally due to the way their impeller fans work.
When the impeller fan is the problem, the good news is that it is generally not a problem with the fan – it just needs to be cleaned.
If you do not have a convection oven but are seeing  the same symptoms as described above, it could be an issue with the cooling fan.  If you hear screeching, grinding, or squeaking noise – but only when you shut off the oven – it could be due to a dirty cooling fan.

    Preventative Tips for Dryers

Purchasing an appliance is considered a costly investment and we try to do our best to maintain it right and keep it in working condition as long as possible.
We try to give some tips for helping our customers fix minor problems themselves and properly maintain the appliance. Keep It Clean!
Accumulation of debris in the lint trap can cause the machine to overheat, but that lint can catch fire, so you need to be very careful. Clean the lint trap after every cycle and make sure you check the pipes in a while and vacuum them if necessary. Checki For Damaged Equipment
Run your hand around the edges of the door when the dryer is working. If you feel a lot of hot air coming out, you may be dealing with a damaged door gasket, which prevents the door from closing properly. Don’t Overload It
Thinking that the last pair of jeans you stick in won’t have any effect on your dryer? Think again. Overloading your dryer can prevent the clothes from drying properly and can also damage the rotating mechanism. When in doubt, you should do two drying cycles and split your clothes in two.
