Now this is a story of one of our tech’s recalls. Our records say that he replaced the main control board WPW10336511and it seemed like the fridge started working with no issues. But the customer called us again around three weeks later complaining that the same issue has started again. The tech who took care of this order was confused, to say the least. He went back to run a full diagnostic all over again. The heating element was working perfectly. But the thermistor WPW10383615 was acting weird. At around room temperature it should be showing 5kOhms, and 22.7kOhms when freezing. But when our tech froze the thermistor with SuperFreeze Liquid, the resistance started going up to 160kOhm and then suddenly drop all the way down to 2kOhms. The tech ran this test on the thermistor WPW10383615 a couple more times, with exactly the same results every single time. When he came back with a new thermistor WPW10383615, he decided to double check his diagnostic and ran the test again, both on the new thermistor and the old one. The new thermistor was behaving ideally, showing 5kOhms at room temperature and 22.7kOhms when frozen. The old one was still showing defective behavior, while it was showing the correct resistance at room temperature at around 5kOhms, when frozen, the resistance was going up very slowly but would not be reaching the proper value of 22.7kOhms. That’s why the compressor was frosting the evaporator coil. Once the old thermistor WPW10383615 was replaced, the Whirlpool WRF560SEYM00 refrigerator started working properly again. Sometimes a resolution to the problem is not as evident as it seems to be initially.

We got an emergency call from a customer who after returning home from a short vacation found all the food in the fridge spoiled because of the non-working fridge. Our tech removed the back cover to check the compressor - it was cold. The inverter board WR49X10283 was getting 120VAC and floating power from 0 VAC to 3.6VAC from signal wire from main control board. From the inverter board WR49X10283, however, the compressor was not getting 230VAC, 150Hz. This was a sign that the inverter board WR49X10283 was defective. Since all the fans were working properly, the control board was not causing any issues so the only option was replacing the inverter board WR49X10283. Once this was done, the compressor started working again and the fridge started cooling.

Another customer contacted us because her Kenmore Elite 796.41472210 washer was leaking. Our tech started by removing the front and back covers to be able to check the washer. He started a cycle to see where the leak was coming from. It turned out that the Tub-to-pump hose was leaking since it had a whole big enough to stick a finger in it. Our tech did not have the Tub-to-pump hose on his truck, but, luckily, there was one at the warehouse. So he went to pick it up and within a couple of hours since the customer called, she already had her washer working perfectly.

Most Common Reasons Why Your Oven Might Be Making Noises.
Not every time that our appliance makes noises we need to worry.
And not every surprising noise is a big deal. For example, if you have a gas oven and it makes a hissing sound, it is just the gas releasing that will be ignited.
The noises of the oven can be connected with different reasons.
Its important to understand the reason for the noise.
Convection ovens often make noises, and in most cases, this is generally due to the way their impeller fans work.
When the impeller fan is the problem, the good news is that it is generally not a problem with the fan – it just needs to be cleaned.
If you do not have a convection oven but are seeing the same symptoms as described above, it could be an issue with the cooling fan. If you hear screeching, grinding, or squeaking noise – but only when you shut off the oven – it could be due to a dirty cooling fan.
Purchasing an appliance is considered a costly investment and we try to do our best to maintain it right and keep it in working condition as long as possible.
We try to give some tips for helping our customers fix minor problems themselves and properly maintain the appliance. Keep It Clean!
Accumulation of debris in the lint trap can cause the machine to overheat, but that lint can catch fire, so you need to be very careful. Clean the lint trap after every cycle and make sure you check the pipes in a while and vacuum them if necessary. Checki For Damaged Equipment
Run your hand around the edges of the door when the dryer is working. If you feel a lot of hot air coming out, you may be dealing with a damaged door gasket, which prevents the door from closing properly. Don’t Overload It
Thinking that the last pair of jeans you stick in won’t have any effect on your dryer? Think again. Overloading your dryer can prevent the clothes from drying properly and can also damage the rotating mechanism. When in doubt, you should do two drying cycles and split your clothes in two.
