A customer’s Finamac Robopop Start popsicle machine stopped working - the compressor was not turning on. There was a burning smell from the breakers block which indicated that one of the switches burned down. After our tech replaced the contactor switch, the popsicle machine started turning on, and the compressor started running as well, but it shut down after about 20-30 seconds. After a few minutes it turned on again and shut off again after working for 5 seconds. The technician cut the Pressure Switch wire and started watching how it was behaving. It turned out that the pressure switch was breaking a circuit, or, more precisely, the high pressure (over 350PSI) on the high side was opening a circuit. After our tech added some freon, the pressure stabilized at around 350PSI on the high side. The Finamac Robopop Start popsicle machine started working again, and after about 30 minutes was already at -6F.

Trying to figure out why the stove wouldn’t ignite, our tech first checked the power from the AC sensor, then he made sure that the switches were working correctly. He determined that the spark module had to be replaced. Next day he replaced the spark module, but the problem remained the same and the stove still would not ignite. He then checked the incoming current, and instead of the 120V it was only at 56V. Our tech let the customer know that it was a problem with the outlet and he had to have an electrician check it. The stove itself was working perfectly fine when they plugged it into a different outlet, and the customer was happy because he only got charged the diagnostic fee.

Another customer’s furnace was leaking in the attic. All of the pipes were clean and the water was going through them perfectly fine. But the furnace itself was leaking water onto the drip pan. The tech removed the lid cover from the furnace and saw that the evaporator coil was inclined and that’s why the water was going not through the opening but dripping down the side onto the drip pan. Our technician did everything he could to change the angle of water flowing from the plate of the evaporator coil.

A customer contacted us because his fridge was not cooling enough. During the initial check-up our technician was able to determine that the heating element was broken and was not warming up at all. After he replaced the WP200675 heating element, the refrigerator was back to defrosting normally again.

Most Common Reasons Why Your Oven Might Be Making Noises.
Not every time that our appliance makes noises we need to worry.
And not every surprising noise is a big deal. For example, if you have a gas oven and it makes a hissing sound, it is just the gas releasing that will be ignited.
The noises of the oven can be connected with different reasons.
Its important to understand the reason for the noise.
Convection ovens often make noises, and in most cases, this is generally due to the way their impeller fans work.
When the impeller fan is the problem, the good news is that it is generally not a problem with the fan – it just needs to be cleaned.
If you do not have a convection oven but are seeing the same symptoms as described above, it could be an issue with the cooling fan. If you hear screeching, grinding, or squeaking noise – but only when you shut off the oven – it could be due to a dirty cooling fan.
Purchasing an appliance is considered a costly investment and we try to do our best to maintain it right and keep it in working condition as long as possible.
We try to give some tips for helping our customers fix minor problems themselves and properly maintain the appliance. Keep It Clean!
Accumulation of debris in the lint trap can cause the machine to overheat, but that lint can catch fire, so you need to be very careful. Clean the lint trap after every cycle and make sure you check the pipes in a while and vacuum them if necessary. Checki For Damaged Equipment
Run your hand around the edges of the door when the dryer is working. If you feel a lot of hot air coming out, you may be dealing with a damaged door gasket, which prevents the door from closing properly. Don’t Overload It
Thinking that the last pair of jeans you stick in won’t have any effect on your dryer? Think again. Overloading your dryer can prevent the clothes from drying properly and can also damage the rotating mechanism. When in doubt, you should do two drying cycles and split your clothes in two.
