A customer’s dishwasher was not filling up with water, or, more precisely, it was filling up but extremely slowly. The first thing our technicians check in a situation like this is water pressure by removing the hose from water valve. The water pressure was sufficient for the dishwasher to be able to run properly. Next, our tech removed the water valve and saw that there was a lot of calx on the filter. The water pressure from the tap was pretty weak. The tech decided to check the quality of water by pouring it straight from the water valve into a bucket - the water turned out to be white like milk and had lots of small and large pieces of calx. So, the calx had blocked all of the pipes and that is why the dishwasher was filling up with water so slowly. Our customers had major issues with their water supply. The tech cleaned the water valve of their dishwasher but warned them that it would happen again sooner or later so they had to have a water inspector and a plumber check their water supply.
