In short
What this policy covers
This is the privacy policy for sunnyappliancerepair.com, the website of Sunny HVAC & Appliance Repair. We are a repair company at 3521 Preta Wy, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742, trading since 2011 and covering six Bay Area counties.
The site is a small one and so is this policy. There is a booking form, a phone number, an email address and an embedded map showing where the office is. Everything below describes those four things, because there is nothing else to describe. We would rather write a short honest page than a long list of cookie categories for cookies this site does not set.
Last updated August 2026. If a line here does not match what the site actually does, one of the two needs fixing and we want to hear about it — the address to write to is at the bottom of this page.
The form
What the booking form asks for
The Request a callback form asks for:
- Your name — required. The dispatcher needs to know who to ask for.
- Phone — required. This is how we call you back, and how the technician tells you they are on the way.
- Email — optional. Leave it blank and we will simply phone you instead.
- City or ZIP — required. It decides which technician is nearest to you.
- What needs fixing — required. A refrigerator, a washer, a furnace, an air conditioner, and so on.
- Describe the problem — optional. Brand and model if you know them, what the unit is doing, any error code on the display.
Two tick boxes go with them. The first is required: you agree to this policy and consent to being contacted about the request you have just sent. The second is optional and covers SMS — tick it and we may text you appointment updates, leave it alone and we will only ever call.
The form carries one more field that you will never see, because it is hidden. It is a spam trap. Automated bots fill it in and people do not, so anything that arrives with it filled in is dropped in the browser and never sent anywhere. Alongside your answers the form records which page of the site you sent it from, so a dishwasher inquiry does not get read as a furnace one.
Treat the description box as what it is — text that arrives in an inbox. There is no reason to type anything into it beyond the fault and the appliance.
Delivery
Where the form goes
This site is a set of static files. It has no database and no server of its own to catch a form, so submissions are handed to a third-party delivery service — FormSubmit — which passes the message straight on to our inbox at support@sunnyappliancerepair.com. Your details pass through their systems on the way. What that service does on its own account is governed by its own privacy policy, not by this one.
If the message goes through, your browser lands on a short thank-you page. If it does not — the service is down, or your connection dropped — the form says so and gives you the phone number instead. It does not pretend a request was sent when it was not.
From there the request lives in an email inbox and in the job record for your repair. A dispatcher reads it, calls you back to agree a two-hour window, and passes your name, the address you give on that call and the fault to the technician who is coming out. Nobody outside the company is sent a copy, and inside it the request goes no further than the people working on your job.
Calls and texts
How we use your phone number and email
Your phone number is used to arrange and carry out the repair. That means a callback to confirm the slot, a call from the technician when they are on the way, and a call about parts or a return visit if the job needs one. We are on the phone seven days a week between 7am and 8pm, so those calls happen inside those hours.
SMS is separate and it is opt-in. If you ticked the SMS box we may text you appointment updates — the window, the technician on the way. Message and data rates may apply; those are your carrier's, not ours. Tell the dispatcher or reply asking us to stop, and we stop, without it affecting the repair.
Email is only used if you gave us one, and only to answer the request you sent — a reply about the fault, or a copy of your paperwork if you ask for one. The exact price is quoted on site before the repair starts, and your paperwork is handed to you at the end of the visit, so neither of those depends on us having your email address. We do not run a newsletter, and we do not sell, rent or swap your details with anybody.
The same goes for a job you bring to us: if you drop an appliance off with us, the number you leave is used to call you back that same day with an estimate, and for nothing else.
Cookies
Cookies, analytics and the embedded map
This site sets no cookies of its own, and the one measurement tool on it is Google Tag Manager (container GTM-54XZH3HN), which loads on every page. Tag Manager is a container rather than a tracker of its own: it collects nothing and sets no cookies by itself, but whatever tags are switched on inside it — an analytics property, an advertising pixel — run under Google's terms, may set their own cookies in your browser and may see which pages you open. Nothing is written to this site's own local storage, there is no session recorder, and no visitor list is built here. Ask us at the address below what is switched on in that container and we will tell you.
Four things on the site point outside it:
- Google Tag Manager, described above. It loads from Google's servers on every page.
- The embedded map. The map of our Fremont address is a Google Maps frame. It loads from Google's servers, which means Google sees the request and may set its own cookies inside that frame. We have no control over that and no access to whatever it collects. It is there to show where the office is.
- The form delivery service described above, which receives nothing at all until you press the button.
- The links in the footer to our Yelp and Google listings and our social profiles. Those are ordinary links — nothing happens until you click one, and once you do you are on their site under their rules.
Apart from the map frame, the fonts, photographs and logos on these pages are all served from this site, so reading a page does not call out to anyone.
Your details
How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted
We keep the request and the job record after the repair is finished, because we cannot answer a question about a job we can no longer find when you ring about it. It stays in our job history after that, so a returning customer does not have to explain the whole thing twice. We are not building a mailing list out of it and we are not selling it on.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. Ask us to stop contacting you and we stop, SMS updates included. The one thing we may have to keep is the paperwork behind an invoice, which we hold for as long as any business has to hold its books.
Write, email or call — whichever is easiest:
- Post: Sunny HVAC & Appliance Repair, 3521 Preta Wy, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742
- Email: support@sunnyappliancerepair.com
- Phone: (888) 622-2799, seven days a week, 7am to 8pm
Say what you want done and give us the phone number you booked with, so we can find the right record rather than guess at it.
