A customer called us because the light refrigerator light on his Scotsman ice machine was on - the ice machine stopped working, and the light was an indicator that something was wrong with the cooling system. Since our tech was not familiar with this particular ice machine, he had to use the diagnostic manual to try and find the issue. After a little research and following the steps of the diagnostic chart, he found that the coil was dirty and that was why the ice machine wasn’t cooling anymore. Once cleaned the coil, the commercial Scotsman ice machine started working again.
